Sales Events Happening This Month

I'm so excited to be having so much activity centering around my shop this month.

Tomorrow night at 7 PM EST, The Tophatter Community Auction Event for Earth Mother Mosaics begins! As this is my first time having an auction, I'm hoping more than a few employees from Tophatter and I show up! Please come and support the arts and have some fun. I've been in the zone with mosaic work on crosses too! The one I showed yesterday is now ready for grout.

And I pulled out 2 more crosses and nipped up some dish shards to work on later today.

These get completed quickly and I'm loving working with dish tiles at the moment. It is a nice break from stained glass.

It looks like I'll be grouting over the weekend! I'm okay with that because I love how grout pulls it all together.

My mosaic, "Grow, Bloom, Fly" has made it to Cape Cod and I am hoping it will eventually go to a nice home who will love it completed as much as I loved creating it! The Signatures Salon Exhibit runs from tomorrow, July 10 through September 1, 2013 at the Historic Highfield Hall in Falmouth, MA. It's a wonderful opportunity to go see some amazing mosaic work by many talented artists and I highly recommend those that are local to the area or are looking for a day trip, take the time to go.
