Day 6. Mine

Day 6. Mine - I love my little gallery in my room. This art in the form of mostly mosaics is as uniquely mine as the wall hangings. I know I'm forever grateful for the creative spark inside my brain that produces these things.

Take note next week I'll do one post with 6 or 7 daily photos in them. I'm just about over the flu bug (not the way I wanted to spend my staycation but I am getting the rest I need!) and will be going full steam ahead with my normal daily posts! Woo-hoo!

Day 5. Movement

Day 5. Movement - Still feeling a bit blah from the flu so I pulled this great shot out of a folder I took on Christmas Day that I altered a bit to make it look magical. There are 3 moving children and a quiet cat watching the action. That green blur on the right is Malachi, Asuka and Rowan are on the left. Trampy, the kitty, is the only one not moving! :)

Day 4 - The View From Here

Day 4. The View From Here - I've got the rotten flu/cold that's being passed around and decided to wait in the car while my daughter and grandson did the grocery shopping. That provided some interesting views I'd not normally have. When I used the photo editing I noticed a rainbow peaking out towards the top of the clouds. I haven't seen one in years and would have missed it entirely had I gone into the store with them. Awesome stuff.

Photo A Day - Days 2 & 3 - 01/02 and 01/03/2013

Day 2. Something New
Pendant blanks to make more mosaic jewelry!

Day 3. Heart
A rather crude looking mosaic I made back in 2006, I think. The early days of not knowing how to nip glass or mirror and using way too much water to clean off grout. I've learned so much since then!

Stay peaceful.
