Throwback Thursday

A favorite mosaic, now long gone, was an old wooden framed window I put scrap glass on. This took about 6 weeks to make from start to finish in 2014.

I remember grouting took a few days. I don't have a clue how big it was, but it almost entirely fit in the big windows I had in the bedroom.

Close-ups were the best part. Seeing the light come through it in the afternoons was a joy.

I've made window privacy panels, smaller versions, using this style and I love them. At the moment I have 3 that need repairs. That should get added to the list of things to do so I can enjoy them once more.
