In The Studio

This week I'm finishing up the tiny crosses (custom order). They've been grouted and cleaned up a bit. In the photo below, the grout looks super wet but it's an illusion. It's actually quite thick like brownie batter and it looks similar to it too. Although I have never been tempted to taste grout, I'm guessing it tastes nothing like brownies.

Next, they'll get polished up so they sparkle and the backs will be painted black. They're scheduled to leave in a week.

The Puerto Rico Flag mosaic (custom order) is going really well. It's so nice to work with all the same thicknesses in glass. What a luxury!

I made another cross using blue & white china. This will get painted white on the back and sides and grout will be white. It should be listed on Etsy soon!

This morning a treasury was made for the DUB (Drumming Up Business) Team on Etsy. Check it out!

Burlap and Gold
The family friend that donated so many cookie jars a few weeks ago, gave us quite a few more boxes for me to look through probably of more cookie jars. I've yet to peek inside to see what kind of goodies are waiting, but you can be sure many things will be listed from these boxes in the months to come. She's beyond generous! We're so fortunate to know people who want to help us recycling and reuse items. It's a wonderful thing!

Stay peaceful,
Cindy, Earth Mother Mosaics
