In The Studio - Part One

It's been a little slow In The Studio this week. I've got my pile still waiting for grout and did some prepping over the weekend of new things.

old wooden puzzle boards
Two old puzzle boards were "slathered" with cement to make the surface flat for mosaic fun. These boards will be used for Christmas gifts I'm making for the fam which might very well be a little late in gifting.

I did mosaic a few small things and that seems to be all I can do right now.

WIP - Flower Magnet (maybe?)
Light switch cover - WIP - Stained glass in lilac and yellow, blue mirror and Van Gogh glass
Working on smaller pieces is all I am interested in right now although big projects are waiting. I'm not too concerned about any of it because I know time at the crafts table is the most important thing no matter what it is I'm creating.

And as the week goes on, I am adding a lot to the "to be grouted" pile. This weekend will be a fun grout fest!

Stay peaceful,
Cindy

For me the hardest part is getting in the studio and then not wanting to leave..what do you mean you want to eat supper? lol

I just lose touch with time and then find it's near bed time, and I haven't taken my daily dose of medication to keep myself going! Life can be hard at times, eh?!

Ah yes, I've been known to do that too. It is important for me to get up and move around once in a while, otherwise I find it more difficult the next day to function. However, a whole slew of new mosaics are in a pile ready for grout, so taking a day off here and there is worth it when I yield fruit from my labor. :)
