Some of you may recall I had wanted to add a pretty daisy flower brooch on this peace sign. After completed it, it stood on it's own, without the brooch and distinctly told me it didn't need the added bling to look fantastic. I never mess with the muse, as I've often said, so here it is, as is, as a patchwork peace sign, standing on it's own. And looking fantastic!

Finding fellow mosaic artists who sell their art on Etsy is delightful. Here are my Fab 5 Faves on Etsy for this week.

We love abstract art! It is art that seeks to achieve its effect using shapes, forms, colors,
and textures. It's what started my love of mosaic making and what still makes me happy when I create an abstract mosaic.
These abstract mosaics are all available from my Etsy shop. You can find them by clicking on the links above each photo. Enjoy.
I have gotten all three spaces filled in with stained glass this week. The heart, the flower and the peace sign are complete. Now I've started filling in the areas using dish tiles. I took photos of each area done in glass to see if the dish tiles would work. I like the way it looks so far, which is a very good thing. Below are photos of the progress as of Tuesday evening. I shared the heart last week, but am showing it here again along with the flower and peace sign.
Making sure the dish tiles look okay was the reason for these photos. I think they work well!
I started adding the tiles within the peace sign before finishing up for the day yesterday.

One of the things I love about Etsy is having all I could ever need available with just a few clicks. All but one link I'm sharing here today are from Etsy. What can I say? I love Etsy!!
When I'm looking for small amounts of glass tiles, especially for custom work, I use this site.
Maria has a pretty wide selection in color and most of what I use in iridescent glass comes from her. If you stop in, tell her I said hi!
